The acceleration of … The acceleration of a maglev train is less than that of the trains on wheels. That nice smooth ride means low acceleration values. The acceleration continues until the train is going very fast.
Wheels can be made to work at such speeds. The land speed record is much faster than the speed of a maglev and it was on wheels. It is just an engineering problem to make them work at the speeds involved. The wheels would cost more.
The reason for a … The reason for a maglev system is reduced friction, true, but it’s not about reduced cost. It’s about increased speed. Traditional mechanical wheels cannot sustain the forces involved in making a train accelerate/decelerate to/from those speeds, but the benefits of increased transportation speed result in greater profit via the ability to transport passengers and cargo quickly. That’s the only profit-related advantage to using a maglev system.
Not to mention, … Not to mention, this is a total scam. Just look it up. These guys have completely unrelated patents (NOT ones for producing energy) that they’re parading around as if they produce energy. They ran illegal BANC scams to filter investment money through Singapore. They refuse to allow anyone to examine their machine, including using the “it’s behind that door but we don’t have the key” excuse.
Puuullleeezzz… do a little homework before defending these obvious con artists.
Magnets only store … Magnets only store a trivial amount of energy. You can find the numbers with google. The analogy with water works because with energy as with water, if you take it out of something it isn’t in there any more.
The advantage of maglev is reduced friction. The cost of lifting the train is less than the friction in the wheels would have been. It is basic physics.
Maglev trains draw … Maglev trains draw huge amounts of electrical power to make them go. Even at that, they only left the weight a fraction of an inch. You seem to have confused force with energy and work.
A “D-cell” battery has about 5000 J of energy in it.
1 horse power = 746W so you can get
5000 /746 = 6.7 HP seconds from a D-cell
1 horse power also = 550 foot pounds per second so it can lift
550 * 6.7 = 3685 pounds one foot in the air
or 36850 pounds 0.1 feet in the air.
small amount of … small amount of energy? The maglev train clearly denies this. Magnets are used for industrial purposes and it shows their power. Imagine, tons of steel being lifted by magnets using less energy. Think of the power of the magnet!
You will NEVER hear … You will NEVER hear in this video anything about magnets for energy storage. Magnets are not a bucket of water! heheh! This is a silly companrison. This is all about the dynamics energy generation thru magnets.
Maglev Train people! - It uses magnets to do work at far less energy than the previous technology. This allows you to do more work with less energy.
To have a credible rebuttal you MUST setup exactly the same system and show us that it doesnt work.
The energy stored … The energy stored in the field of even the strongest magnet is less than would be stored in a zinc carbon (flash light) battery of the same size. It is a trivial amount compared to the cost of making and shipping a magnet. They are worthless as practical energy storage devices.
The first question … The first question is “does a magnet produce energy”. If the answer was “yes” (which it isn’t) then it is valid to go on to the question of how.
A magnetic field is a form of energy. It is a really small amount of energy and you only get to use it once. Thinking that you can get energy from a magnetic field and still have one left is like thinking you can take water out of a bucket and still have a bucket full of water. It just can’t happen in real life.
well done man i … well done man i always forte about this since i was a child now after doing a wind turbine but i like your power generator get it on the market so people can buy them four a couple of 100 pounds not 1000s like solar panels only the well of can afford that kind of cash thy some good new wind turbines out there as well
I built my own … I built my own Magnetic Generator that is currently powering all of my kitchen appliances using the plans at:

The magnetic field … The magnetic field will run out after 1,300 (if I’m not mistaken) years so technically its not a perpetual motion machine. The device above doesn’t violate the first law of thermodynamics.

markeemark:
Your lack of understanding about magnetism is staggering (especially given how much you apparently THINK you know).
Umm, you know the difference between PERMANENT magnets and ELECTROmagnets, don’t you? (Oh, silly me, it’s obvious that you don’t.)
Mag-lev trains are ELECTROmagnetic and get their energy from the ELECTRIC grid!!!
Permanent magnets don’t have any energy to give.
JEEEEZZUUUUSSS GGOOODDDAMMNEED CHHRRIIISSTT get an education before spouting out your nonsense.

1. NOT exactly equal since the poles are not directly oriented to negate each other. Please view some diagrams online.
2. The energy comes from the magnet. The question here should be “how does a magnet produce energy”.
